My room was simple yet impeccably clean and offered a serene retreat after a long day of exploring Santarem's stunning landscapes. Although the hotel didn't have its own restaurant, the helpful staff recommended an excellent sushi spot just two minutes away that truly satisfied my culinary cravings. One of my favorite touches was the warm hospitality-when I mentioned I had to leave early for my cycling tour, they arranged a box breakfast and fresh coffee for me, showcasing their commitment to guest satisfaction. As a wildlife conservationist, it's refreshing to experience a place that values both comfort and an authentic local experience, making Hotel Umu a solid base for anyone looking to explore the area's natural beauty.
